Resurrection of an old topic.
I have removed the reg from my 500, set the pot to 57mm but with a 37gr hammer. Running to high, got to reduce pot length. Going to try 56 with 37.
37 worked really well with the reg though

Re: What happened to the world we knew ???
Life goes on. I wonder how many of our grandparents think the same and at what stage or during which period?

Re: How long can air cylinder remain charged
I tend to store with 100 - 120 with unregulated rifles. As Roger says, less pressure should reduce the risk of firing valve deformation if stored for longer periods.
Some will put away with high pressure but every week or two, dry fire 5-6 shots.

Re: Pro target breech block
Hi
Never got an answer to this question. Good luck in your search, Pro Targets seem to be as rare as rocking horse droppings at the moment. They do come up occasionally, I have seen them going for anything from 500 upwards.
S400's and S200's are excellent rifles and available much more frequently.

Re: Hft 500 best pellet to use
Straight out of the tin and not batch dependent, mine prefers 452 air arms diablo fields. I did have a batch of 453 jsb that were excellent but haven't been able to get anymore of the same batch. Other batches have not been as good as the AADF.

Scratch repair
I have a small scratch on the metalwork of my TX200. Suggestions for touch up that is a good match please.
Thought about the Birchwood Casey touch up pen but, from what I have read, it's not a great colour match.

Loving my TX - latest obsession.
Picked up a mk3 177 TX200 about 4 months ago. Been tinkering with it and trying different set ups. Spent a fair bit of time shooting it and have hardly touched the pcp's. I'm finding it a bit addictive, trying to consistently shoot it using the same hold and technique each time. When I do my bit, it...
