Re: Bloody hell this US is good.

Could you pass along a link to that polishing process please?

Gracias!

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

Great outcome :D Good shooting Alan Ditto! There is a phrase in the States that drives me nuts. Particularly when I hear it fourteen or fifteen times over the course of a minute long "conversation". However there are times when it does seems appropriate... I know!! right? I'm sure we would all dear...

Re: S510U/S Reg'd

Kev, I can give you my initial thoughts when I open mine tomorrow. I probaby won’t be able to get you Chrono data for awhile as need to set up and try the setup to make sure I’m doing it correctly (thank you TonyC). I will say that a stateside mate is waiting for one just tested by an Air Arms/Pyram...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

Guys, I'm very happy to close this thread out, well to some degree, by saying that the US Distributor to Air Arms, Air Venturi, stepped up, replaced Bob's rifle, tested his replacement, and even cross shipped his replacement, counter to normal policy, while his old rifle was in still in delivery. If...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

I agree with Alan. The only thing I would add is that this could be the upward slope of an unregulated curve. So the reg inlet valve could be stuck partially open.... Hope you don’t mind Tony I shortened the quote. “Unregulated curve..got me thinking...Did I mention I have a busy mind? Wouldn’t the...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

Keep shooting and you'll go supersonic! The thought occurred to me Peter, AA set the parameters for the test and Bob just did what they asked. Up until the time of their request Bobs been doing nothing but his usual pesting and shooting. Oddest damned thing I’ve ever seen. So odd in fact I need to ...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

Hi all, Just for the record neither Bob or I ever thought or said there wasn't a regulator in the XS. Whatever regulator is in there is just giving us some petty weird results; increasingly weird to the point where I'd consider sending mine back unopened. Hopefully Bob will publish the graph I prepa...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

Bob, I'd suggest an email to Air Arms with a couple of profiles attached. Better still to make a phone call and ask for some technical advice then send the data or profile to your tech contact. I did this with my S400 and they were very helpful. They may have seen the exact same issue before. At le...
