Re: Left hand cocking AA in FAC??

Hi, If your rifle has no anti-tamper then it is a DIY job to change it from RH to LH operation I.e you push the bolt forward and down on the left hand side. At no point in my previous reply did I suggest upping your power settings! Please reread my previous reply as it is not about power adjustment....

Re: Left hand cocking AA in FAC??

Hi,

It's possible to convert the S410 from right to left operation (basically swapping a pin over inside). There used to be a guide on the old AAOC forum I believe. Google may throw up results. If your rifle has no anti-tamper then it's a set of Alen keys and a DIY job.

Re: Help please

Hi, The firing pot dimension is the distance from the flat end of the pot to the face of the firing valve body (i.e the length of brass visible in my photo). Remember the pot is locked in position with a small grubscrew and a tiny (easily lost) nylon ball thingy under that that grips the firing pot'...

Re: Help please

Hi, My guess is that the previous owner has fitted a stronger hammer spring off t'internet in order to up the power somewhat and it's now using a lot of air per shot. Put an original spring back in and adjust the power with a pellet like JSB/Daystate heavies and you should be well within the legal l...

Re: how many fills from a 12ltr bottle ?

Hi,

Assuming you refill when it drops to 100 bar then the Chairgun fill calculator reckons 59 fills. My own spreadsheet makes it 57 so there or thereabouts.

Re: S410 fac xtra barrel removal

Hi,

It's only an O-ring and I think I prised mine out with a cocktail stick or such like. Putting new one in is more fiddly but IIRC carefully aided by a bent paper clip.

Re: S410 fac xtra barrel removal

Hi, If it's any use on my S410 non-FAC the barrel is held in place with two grub screws on top of the breech (one I think was under the magazine retaining spring). Some rifles I believe may have a screw under the barrel but I don't know which ones. The barrel breech seal can be change without removi...

Re: How to improve my S410

If it hasn't had it already carry out a 'hammer rail polish'. This will improve shot to shot consistency and is easy to do as you have no Anti-tamper.
