As you say a new or different load of pellets may well even out the graph. Encouraging results though.

Did you have to do much tuning or were Roberts instructions pretty good?

I think it was more likely the valve itself (read cloverleafs bit). I only changed the springs as it meant that all of the rifles internals were 'as new'. Oddly enough accuracy improved massively also but I am not sure why exactly.
