I currently have both, a bog standard HC with TBT kit in and a Paul Short stage 3 tuned 97 with custom stock, trigger, jewelled comp tube etc. Because I only need one gun I have put the 97 up for sale as, for all its awesomeness, I prefer the TX. If I had to put a reason to it I'd struggle as I can'...

Change in Power after first shot - TX200

I bought my TX second hand and I was having power fluctuation issues so I replaced the cocking shoe, breech seals and the piston seal. I have found now that when I take my first shot it averages at 770 fps (8.4gn JSB exacts), if I cock and fire another pellet straight away it drops to about 730-740 ...

I have ordered some new breech seals. I unlatched the cocking arm from the shoe and there is a discernible movement of the shoe in the carrier, so, I ordered a new cocking shoe. I put in the original AA guide and piston weight and the three metal spacers and this takes the rifle up to 9 ft/lbs on av...

Yes, it dropped the power down to around 8 ft/lb.

Just bought a second hand TX Mk3 with a TBT kit fitted, however, putting it over the Combro and it's all over the place.
