Re: Upgrade of sub 12 ft lbs S510 to FAC
Yes it can and you will have to inform your licensing dept, but be warned once it is FAC levels you cannot return it to being a non-fac rifle so you will effectively de-value it...

George, if you can’t find it or are struggling to find it, PM me your email addy and I’ll scan it and send it to you.
It’s definitely worth doing. The trigger isn’t great as standard but this mod turns an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan

Re: Bloody hell this US is good.
It was an article in airgun World magazine. Apparently you can buy the app and read it on-line but mine was the old analogue paper magazine that I bought to take on a flight!

Re: Shout out for Air Arms
I believe the point he is making (by mentioning the s400) is that he has no beef with Air Arms per se, just the fact his Galahad experience has not been as it should and there has certainly been a major issue with his. Hope the HW100 works out for you easy, I love my 2 :D That said loving my S510 US...

Re: Fox Calibre - What's YOUR Choice?
I have a heavy (varmint) barrelled Howa 1500 with a Timney trigger in .22-250. Longest Fox was 265yds with Sierra 55gn Blitzking.
Will happily V Bull at 400yds at the ranges unless it’s really windy when 55gn just isn’t heavy enough. Very happy with it.

Re: Barrel twist rate
As far as I can find they are standard Lothar Walther twist rate at 1:17.7”.
Can’t find any reference to anything other they are standard LW and all the caliber should mention all being the same.

It’s a single shot converted a Rowan mag conversion. For what it cost me and the fact it’s irreplaceable I would rather keep it thanks!

S510 Barrel band.
Anyone got one they don’t want need? I know they aren’t that much new but no harm in asking. Want to try floating the barrel and need one to cut the barrel band off.

Re: Ultimate Sporter fault.
Worked this out today. 15.9gn JSBs are not long enough to interfere with the o ring. So you drop them in the mag and the ring stops it falling through but doesn’t grip the pellet, so if you tip the mag back with a pellet in the open hole it’s falls out. Design fault? Not really as the o ring has to ...
