Element Helix SFP when dialling in.

I little confused. I have always used the hold over or under approach. I recently bought the Element Helix in SFP with a view to dialling. It is calibrated on the X 24. I have always been used to the holdover point shiftng in relation to the magnification used. For instance, if it is 2 dots on the X...

Screws for S510

Good evening. I hope everyone is keeping well. Does anyone know where I can get the hex headed screws which are located under the two anti tamper screws which are under the rifle. If not can someone tell me the size of these hex headed screws.

Re: FAC rated air rifle.

I have asked the farmer if it is OK to use an FAC PCP or .22 LR Rimfire. He has said yes. :D

Re: FAC rated air rifle.

I have permission on what must be close to about 100 acres of open farmland to use my PCP's, but since it is so open getting close to rabbits etc is very difficult, therefore I seldom shoot the PCP's on it, apart from along the hedge rows. A rimfire in this open land would be better suited. I was go...

Re: FAC rated air rifle.

Thanks for all the replies. Strangely enough my local FEO has suggested a rimfire in .22. In most of my permissions most of my vermin is perched in or climbing up trees. These pests are be better suited to the sub 12 ft PCP's I already have. The piece of land where I could use the rimfire is quite s...

Upgrade of sub 12 ft lbs S510 to FAC

I am thinking of applying for an FAC. Rather than buy a new rifle I would like to upgrade my current S510 in .22. I would not want the power adjustable as the FAC rated ones comes from the factory. A fixed output would be just fine. Could this gun be upgraded to FAC by an RFD gunsmith.

FAC rated air rifle.

Thinking of applying for an FAC. Am I right in thinking that the trajectory of a .22 FAC rated air rifle is more flatter, being similar to a .177 sub 12 ft lbs rifle. I understand at the same distance a .22 would hit harder, but is there really an other benefit to getting one. Is there anything I ne...

Re: Air Arms Magazine Pellet Loading problem.

I wonder if they have changed the indexing pawl due to the related problem of the drum jamming when a pellet gets stuck. The user tries too hard to complete the cocking of the gun by pushing the side lever forward too hard. This could damage the indexing pawl, by getting bent against the stuck non m...

Re: Air Arms Magazine Pellet Loading problem.

During my communications with AA I suggested the two O ring fix. They said that they had tried it and found it not to be a satisfactory fix. Why I have no idea. I also suggested the O ring being placed in the centre of the drum and recessed deeper.

Re: Air Arms Magazine Pellet Loading problem.

I have tried both 5.51 and 5.52 AA Diablo Fields. They both are very loose inside the magazine. I still think though that a rifle of these prices should not have to be loaded with the muzzle either in the horizontal or angle downwards. This problem has been known to AA for a very long time. When sho...
