All sorted, the broken fill gauge on tank was the problem. Put another gauge inline and works fine now.

I agree with your assumption that the gauge is broken, suppose connecting it to the gun might mean that it could have filled to a higher pressure than 180psi I will get the cylinder serviced and acces from there. Had another go today and it’s not as accurate as it has been - seems to go alright then...

Yes that’s right, needle didn’t move, air doesn’t seem to be going into gun.
If not attached to gun, air does come out of connector?
