Common problem on the PS. I use a small amount of super glue on the screw which attaches cocking lever to comp tube. Works well.

Am I correct in thinking my .177 Propsport with 4 x stock screws and a few collapsed coils at the end of the spring with the heavy steel top hat screwed into the dead coils (bloody tightly !!) is a mk2 model with the shorter stroke.

Do you cock the trigger before refitting the trigger unit then pull the trigger when it is back in the action? or just refit it un cocked.
