Re: Where is everyone?

I check in about once a month, but there's seldom anything about a TX200, which is all I own.

Re: TX200 safety stuck on

I would pull back on the cocking arm, as if trying to set the safety, and then see if I could get the button to push over. If this worked, then I'd take it apart and clean and re oil the trigger unit. It's also possible the safety button has snapped. Either way you don't want to open the gun with th...

Re: So ... Any of us dead of Coronavirus yet?

The world we now live in has the mindset that we can fix anything and everything with words. There seems to be not a lot we can do other than the normal, wash your hands, stay home if you're sick, and don't travel to any place the virus is know to be common. We'll just have to let it run it's course...

Re: Squirrel shooting

I'm about to clean out my supply of squirrels. The front yard has around a dozen and a few have gotten very comfy with the house. I saw one under our car as I came in from work today. He, or she, has to go.

Re: Vinyl Records ...

I don't play them often, but I still have a few albums from the 70's. I don't know how to describe the difference between vinyl and a CD, but vinyl has a crispness the CD lacks. :D

Re: How to identify and date TX200 Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3

The Mark3 came out in 1999-2000 and had the very same stock as the Mark2. The fish scale came along around 2006, so there are plenty of Mark3 guns with the old nicer looking, to me at least, stock. Early Mark1 guns had no checkering on the fore end, just the pistol grip was checkered. One of my Mark...

Re: Loading Pellets

As a lefty shooter who is right handed, I always got a lefty stock and righty action. One day a fine old full lefty MarkI came up for sale and I wondered if I could load it. I turned my righty guns upside down to put the port on the left. It was easy and I now cock this lefty gun(yes I bought it) ri...

To call them fishing stories is diplomatic. Just go on and call them the lies that they are.

Re: Tx 200 SR mk2

The bolts should have an o-ring around them. There will be a groove below the bottom of the adjustable tension nuts. The o-ring is a #008 just the same as the breech seals. You might want to nip the nuts up just a little, so the action slides when the gun is pointed up at about 45 degrees. Just slid...
