Re: MHR FPoole
A bit late but have a ball and mind the ‘gators Actually saw a gator today. It is in a small lake in a subdivision. Breeding season is upon us and the male gators are on the move. As for the birthday, I have officially entered the first stage of old age, 60, I still don't feel a day over 30...

Re: Prosport shroud
The baffles are exactly the same as the Pro Elite break barrel were. Glad we finally found the noise and I figured you would as soon as I read the new post about the baffles coming out. I would push them in just far enough to get the next one in and so on until i was down the the black one. I'm not ...

Re: Prosport shroud
Been a long time, but I think the black colored end baffle is just a tiny bit inset. Maybe 1/16" or so. My old .177 Pro Elite blew out the first and second baffle, so I cleaned the inside of the shroud with some mineral spirits and then put a small dab of super glue on the end baffle. They never cam...

Re: RIFLE CANT
I always plumb line my reticle and I have a bubble that clamps around the scope tube. I use the plumb line to set my level. This makes the reticle straight up and down plumb when the bubble is in the middle. Pretty sure the bore has to be perfectly plumb below the scope as well. The last thing I do ...

Re: RIFLE CANT
Cant can also effect the elevation as well. I've found this out the hard way, as in, missing shots at a FT match.

Re: Tx200sr mk1
You're familiar with a standard TX and the SR is almost the same. Remove the 2 fore end screws and the 1 screw forward of the trigger guard. The action will pull up and out of the stock with the trigger guard in place. In the place where a standard TX trigger blade is the SR has a small bar with the...

Re: TX200 Mk2
I'd still try them out. Take some AA/JSB pellets with you. You may find that one or both of the guns just seem to be special, accuracy wise. I have a special MarkII and it just seems easier to get a tight group. I've never seen a bad TX, but my first, and last, 97 was a bad one. It's always best if ...

Re: Spring life
Each gun and each spring is a tiny bit different. I think the factory put the washer in to get to a target velocity. They allow for the gun to bed in and gain some power is my guess. I've heard of new guns having 5 or more washers. Even the barrel can produce a change between two guns using the exac...

Re: merry christmas ya filthy animals...
Merry Christmas to all. Zing, if you contemplate a move to the south, Florida is pretty much full up. The weather is beautiful, but we are crowded, unless you have plenty of money and no need to work. There's actually loads of space in southwest and central Florida.
