Re: Spring vs. pcp

I'll try pelletcaster I'm not exactly a wizz with computers and uploadingposting pics. You'd be welcome to visit me at my home in Lincolnshire where I have a large garden and a clear 35-metre zeroing range. I would gladly demonstrate for you. But for years out of memory now, my pre-hunting-trip zero...

Re: Spring vs. pcp

Sorry chaps I think something I wrote has been taken a bit too literally. By a single hole pellet group, I mean to say, of course it will be a little ragged round the edges due to a little deviation on the part of the shooter; but the pellets are still on top of one another scrunched into a little b...

Re: New Pro Sport owner.

I certainly will report back here when the job's been done on mine 2dotstar. It's not just the kit but, I'm having a radical fettle of the whole rifle's internals done, including stripping and retuning the trigger which I consider vital to accuracy. It needs a bit more feel on second stage than at p...

Re: Spring vs. pcp

It really is an enduring myth that a pcp rifle is more accurate than a springer. One espoused by PCP shooters who haven't yet learned to appreciate the value of learning to shoot correctly as only a well tempered spring rifle can show them. Of course, it depends on the quality of the spring rifle an...

Re: New Pro Sport owner.

Well, 2dotstar that looks bloody lovely in the CS800 stock you have there (What do you want to do with the factory stock. Just out of interest?) Brother Caleb. I've really given up on looking for one of the very few left handed Pro Sports there may be for sale out there, they just haven't come my wa...

Re: New Pro Sport owner.

Just bough the air arms pro sport in .22 also, couldn't resist and ordered the cs800 thumbhole stock from customstocks was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the same rifle and it any tips tuning it? Cheers. TinBum kits seem to work very well with tuning a Pro Sport or TX200. But I don't think...

Re: New Pro Sport owner.

Thank you both gentlemen, FPool and Timmytree and, Timmytree that's a kind offer of help. And you are right. after what I've done to mine, it is quite a unique example of a Pro Sport that can be comfortably shot from either shoulder. An honestly ambidextrous riflestock. and no loading problems from ...

New Pro Sport owner.

Gentlemen. Greetings. It's been quite a long time since I was here last. But after owning a TX200 and TX200HC and a few superb Wiehrauch spring rifles, I've finally got my heart's 30-year desire and bought an Air arms Pro Sport .22 rifle. Okay. Nothing at all remarkable about that. But,,,, I'm a lef...
