TX200SR stock, CS500, walnut, left hand

This is a left handed stock that was fitted to a right handed action CS500 in walnut. A couple of small marks that I've tried to show in the pictures. But overall in very good condition Selling as I'm right handed and this came on a rifle I bought. I can email high resolution photos if you PM me an ...

Re: School me: 177 or 22?

If I lived in the US and could only have one air rifle, I would probably have .22 I think the best pellets we have at the moment are Air Arms Field/JSB Exact. And I think they are most accurate around 800 fps A .22 pellet travelling at 800 fps is less affected by wind than a 177 travelling at the sa...

Re: Age of TX200 HC

As said, the early HC's were made with Mk2 pistons.
They changed to the mk3 spec in November 1998 at the same time as the full length mk3 came out

I think the idea of not having 'mk' versions of the HC was to keep it simple and avoid confusion

TX200 HFT

First HFT of the year yesterday. Unfortunately I was only 80% due to lingering flu. But definitely needed the practice, next weekend is Round 4 of the Daystate Midland Hunter Series and I need a really good score if I want to be in the top 3 at the end of the series. Top two recoiling shooters are u...

Re: Hft 500

Have you tried washing/lubricating/weighing/sorting pellets? I use them straight from the tin but always check the skirts before loading. Over a hft shoot I'll probably throw away 2 or 3 pellets that don't look right

Re: Should my top hat come off?

The top hat actually screws into the dead coils on the spring. You need to unscrew it which can be very stiff if it has never come off before. I think it's lefty loosey but looking at the spring will tell you for sure. It sounds like you have the 0.22 calibre top hat which is smaller and less weight...

Re: scopes and wearing glasses

I wear glasses but the other way round, I'm short sighted.
I leave them on, adjust the ocular lens to suit and keep both eyes open

Re: TX withdrawal

Getting more tx's definitely counts!

The weather wasnt the problem, I was visiting family and didn't think to take a gun with me.
Had a longer go with the 25mm hw97. It's remarkably similar to my short stroke tx so I managed

Got back yesterday and managed a few groups before it got dark. Panic over

Re: Hft 500

What pellets are you using? Are you shooting from a knee/bag/bipod etc? To be honest there isn't much to be gained from stripping these down except for cleaning the barrel. The only things that effect the pellets are the amount of air pushing it, the barrel it's going down, and the silencer or air s...

TX withdrawal

Been separated from my TX200's for almost 2 weeks now. Starting to get withdrawal and even a go on my dad's 25mm HW97 hasn't fixed it.

Anyone get anything good for their AA springers for Christmas?
