Re: TX200SR stock, CS500, walnut, left hand

Good evening Sir,
Is this lefty stock still available? Also, are you okay with shipping to the United States. I’ve bought several air rifle parts and even a stock from the U.K. please advise.

Regards,
Tim

Re: hammer weight

Not sure if this helps but I have an S400 xtra Fac. The original hammer was 49 grams which I've lightened to 36 grams. I don't know the weight of the 12 FPE version hammer.

Good luck,
Higgs

Re: trigger lubricant

I've moved to the PFPE lubricants (Ultimox, Krytox) for most of my airguns. After cleaning all trigger parts with solvent, I coat any friction and bearing surfaces with Ultimox then remove most of what I've applied. This leaves micro thin film of lube. I haven't had problems with the parts collectin...

Re: How many coats of oil on stock?

Pjgtech, Modern finishes, used by Air Arms and other fine gun makers, do not resemble oil finishes of olden days. New finishes can contain polymers, acrylic, or urethane that make it virtually impenetrable to things like CCL oil. The oil may set on top of the finish but will not penetrate to "r...

Re: Adding a power adjuster to s400????

check that you have not had a PM, there`s a bit of an unwritten rule in the UK that power adjustment is never discussed openly Thank you Neil, I've received no private messages but I believe your reply has enlightened me as to the reason. Thank you for taking the time. Regards, Regards[/quote] I'm ...

Re: Adding a power adjuster to s400????

I am amazed that no one could answer my query. I've changed out the valve spring and kept the original hammer spring for now. I'm at 19FPE, A little hot but it has become a fantastic silhouette rifle. I've also fitted a poplar MPR stock which lends itself well to offhand shooting. I'd still like to ...

Adding a power adjuster to s400????

Hi all, I've recently picked up an older .22 S400 xtra FAC. I've installed a regulator and really like the rifle. I shoot indoor silhouette and this rifle is just too powerful for that. I've lightened the hammer to 36 grams and have considered changing the hammer spring and perhaps the firing valve ...
