Re: HFT500 barrel
Thanks for the heads up Alan. My barrel is a lovely snug fit and came out with a light tap.

HFT500 barrel
Hi, is the HFT500 barrel Loctited in place or just a push fit?

Re: Ultimate Sporter binding trigger sears
Jezzer the whole point of stage 2 is that it should take extra effort to trip it but it should only engage just before stage 1 would otherwise trip it. See the adjust instructions in the video or at Rowan Engineering where I pinched it. Single stage trigger is great and often preferred in target we...

Re: Ultimate Sporter binding trigger sears
IMHO the trigger on my Ultimate Sporter was terribly, first stage take up was fine but as soon as the second stage comes into play the extra pressure needed to disengage the sear is really hard. Fitting a lighter spring didn't help either. On close examination of the workings I could see the problem...

Re: Hawke scopes
Probably not what you're looking for but my mate is selling a near new Hawks Vantage 4-16 X 50 mildot for £100 plus post.
It's a lovely clear scope and unmarked. I think he paid £180 for it a few months ago.

Re: Magazine Problems
I personally don't use the O ring anymore and the mag works just fine and I find the feeding of the pellets into the barrel smoother.
All I do is load the mag. with one less pellet and leave open hole empty.

Re: 16mm diameter barrel
Jezzer, I have tried floating this barrel and it shot quite well, I was just concerned about all the weight and strain on the barrel tang and action. I do have a HFT500 that does have a floated barrel but it is a 14mm barrel with a 12mm tang and has three screws holding the barrel. Since the 16mm b...
