How do you know that it needs replacing if you haven't taken it apart already??

I already have a 3" block that I use for benchrest with the 64MPR.That works well with the ult/sporter but other situations require a bipod and I don't like the " Harris type". It seems unusual for a feature on a gun to have nothing to use on it.

Thanks for the reply. I think this is a weak mounting of the bipod. It tends to pull on the screws that hold the rail into the stock. I would hope to support a weaver rail by at least 5mm length in the stocks rail. It's an Atlas bipod.

Does anyone know of a maker of accessories for the rail on my ultimate sporter stock? I am looking for an attachment for a picatinny rail for a bipod.

Is it fac, if not, 0.25 is not the best calibre for past 35m. I've had 3 different scopes on mine and not had any problems.the mounts were Sportsmatch medium swan neck ( front mount ). Had to shim the bottoms so as to clear the mag post.Scope now using is Zos 10-40X50. David p.s. shoots to the left ...

I had planned on setting it at 30 and leaving it there.Only had it 3 days so still playing with it. Lowering it does not seem to give any more shots, just closes the vent. David.

Can someone recommend a pull through for cleaning a barrel on the S510 extra with a shrouded barrel. I will not be spending £30 on the Napier kit. The one I have is too thick to fit down a straw. David.
