Re: Is this S200 performing ok?

That's good shooting TenmeterPeter. I finally got the chance to measure the S200's power curve again. Remember, I'd reduced its power to what is typical for a 10m target air rifle. Group sizes were good. For ease of reference, here's a photo of all the power curves. Oldest at the top, the flattest w...

Re: S200 trigger design

There's this one from BAR for less, but I could see no photo and you have wait until their steel engineer gets back from holiday, it says.

Re: Is this S200 performing ok?

Hard to find time lately, but today I managed to shoot a few groups. First photo is of 5 pellet groups dioptre sights at 10m using JSB Sport Target, rested on a bag. Anti clockwise from top left (you have to scroll the photo to see all the groups): A. 3mm c-c, shot with brass bracket in place and wa...

Re: Is this S200 performing ok?

Construction of washer from random piece of plastic packaging that was lying about. Will test the gun later when I get some time.

Re: Is this S200 performing ok?

I rummaged and found some clear plastic packaging from which to make the washer. I used a 5p piece as a template. Pictures below should be self explanatory. I also cut down the brass support band and removed material from its bottom lower face for clearance. There is also a thin sliver of plastic ma...

Re: S200 trigger design

Well, I've not yet figured out what the stop screw D does on the S200 - except for stopping it from being safely de-cocked when screwed in too far! FPoole, interesting observation on the TX trigger. Did you happen to notice your technique at the time? Were you moving your finger the same way each sh...

Re: Is this S200 performing ok?

Ah, that's really encouraging, thanks 10meterPeter. (I have sorted the trigger by the way - see separate "S200 trigger design" thread on this forum. The rear stop screw was too far in and now that I've unscrewed it a bit, it can be de-cocked safely). I need to get a decent Knee roll. At th...

Re: S200 trigger design

Thanks Rog for the suggestion. I tried that, but it didn't work. I did fix it however. It was D. I had screwed it too far in to get the Rowan trigger on. So, unscrewed it half a turn, and voila, it now de-cocks safely. And the trigger itself is magic. Light first stage, and when I think "shoot&...

Re: S200 trigger design

I found the attached diagram very useful. I adjusted mine so that it's really lovely, and I agree with Raj about the Rowan blade. It's brill. However, now I've messed something up about it. The trigger won't go through its de-cock procedure properly. When I hold the bolt out, press the trigger, let ...
