Re: Tumbling pellets?
Target was hung in front of backstop by 6 inches or so. Targets are also regulation benchrest targets, chosen for their ability to showcase accurately bullet strikes. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/bOUddha22/tx200.jpg Not the best picture, but this is the TX200 in .177 taken the same day.

Re: Tumbling pellets?
.22 cal Hunter is rated 975 FPS. It shot lighter weight pellets fairly well (half inch @ 20 yards occasionally. I'll probably give this to my neighbor, just curious. My TX200 is much better in all areas, of course, and I swapped spring & parts to lower it to 11 FPE.

Re: Four days...
I'm officially a regulation member of this august gathering, but must admit to some questionable behavior. Liking what I heard about the Vortek tuning kit, I ordered one as well as an o-ring thingy that sounded useful. That was Friday, got a call from Vortek this morning telling me that they had no ...

Re: oh dear me
There is no way he would have finished that shoot with ANY of the people I've shot with. After the second wounding he would have been carrying that rifle by the barrel with his hands free, and a severely soiled pair of trousers. No place for that behavior.

Re: Four days...
I ordered it from Pyramyd Air...nobody local sells them as far as I could tell. Nice wood is always welcome! I bought an English walnut stock set for a Thompson Center Contender made by a guy in Nebraska that is so beautiful I can't sell it... http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/bOUddha22/IMG_0192...
