Right then I have just checked the transfer port is clear ,the firing valve is 65.87mm long and doesnt seem to be worn although it is flat on the end but I presume this is correct . there is 3.86mm protruding for the hammer to hit . I am not sure about the fag paper test how do i do this please ? Du...

interestingly there wasnt an o ring between cylinder and breech when i first stripped it ,so i put one in.
havent tried fag paper trick . will try tomorrow as i am a bit to "relaxed" at the moment .

I am beginning to think it must be the reg too, although it seems quite a simple thing ! I will keep you posted when I have got new bits and reassembled . I must admit I have enjoyed trying to fix the issue ,learnt quite a lot and also did some posting which is something I dont do to often ! typing ...

To answer your questions Tony , Yes it was 11ftlb when I last used 3 years ago, no there isnt a spacer missing it is exactly as was when if first opened it , The air flow is only through the 3 holes drilled around the pot , Transfer hole seems clear. think you could be right on that Rog . interesting there should be a ball under the grub screw , my grub screw is just pointy

Right, home from work . Stripped gun again and taken out pot and there is no spring . so i presume the valve is returned by air pressure? The pot has 3 holes drilled around it for air flow and the end of the pot sits against the reg. hopefully this is a link to the pictures . i couldnt drop and drag...

Yes its 177.
I have learned alot in the last week, but I don't think I know any where enough to be able to or indeed want to do it that much.
Prefer hitting stuff with hammers than making tiny adjustments :)
I like to be able to do sort things for myself....when I can
