Re: Stripped thread in Pro Sport bottom rail.
Managed to get this sorted, I bought some longer stainless screws from a supplier in Peterborough to replace the two rearmost ones and fitted them, dunno whether it was the extra length or better-quality screws (?) but they tightened OK. The two at the front I bought two stainless screws the same le...

Stripped thread in Pro Sport bottom rail.
Hi all, refitting the stock to my Pro Sport after fitting the Rowan adjustable butt plate, and the rear left(looking down from on top of the rifle) thread in the bottom rail has stripped almost all of the way out. I've peeved because after checking it looks like there's barely enough length on the s...

Re: Prosport Silencer
I had one made by matw975 from this very forum, £52 posted and a hell of a nice piece of kit it is too. If you send a private message to him you can see if he's making any more

Stock care
I've recently acquired a walnut-stocked Pro Sport and want to look after the stock as best I can. It looks as though the stock as a hard finish on it (polyurethane or something), doesn't look like it's just oiled to my untutored and ageing eyes anyway! What is the consensus on what's best to use ple...

Re: Adjustable butt plate for Pro Sport
Arrived today from Rowan Engineering, first impressions are of a superb quality bit of kit, can't wait to fit it and get the rifle set for me, happy days. If I remember I'll post some picices.

Re: Adjustable butt plate for Pro Sport
Yup, downards is where I want it to go, I always find that butt pad bottom points seem to sit against my collarbone rather than in my shoulder, either that or I feel like I'm having to drop my head too far to sit against the stock, comes of being 6ft 4in tall and having a long neck! I had to make a ...

Re: Accessories for a Pro Sport
Would just like to big up mattw975, received my supressor from him today, very well packed and superbly made. As I said when I PMd him, it makes a difference to the sound produced by the rifle but I'll be interested to carry out some with it/without it tests using a video camera next to a target to ...

Re: Adjustable butt plate for Pro Sport
I did actually think to measure it after I'd posted this (should have done that before posting, nit! that I am!) and the measurements of it correspond with the smaller-sized one shown on their webpage, so I'll order one and let those interested know how I get on

Adjustable butt plate for Pro Sport
I am aware that Rowan Engineering make one of these for the TX200 but can anyone tell me if it fits the Pro Sport too (with or without any reshaping to fit the stock)? I know that there is the Bisley buttplate but I like the design and look of the Rowan one and would like to try it but didn't want t...
