leaking s400?
Purchased an older s400, has previously had regulator fitted, been stood for a while, using on range, no probs, after 2nd refill I ran it down to the point it self vented, upon getting it refilled it's venting air out of the barrel. Chap querying a seal or even the regulator died a death. I guess a ...

air weapons Vs crossbows?
Just a question
I understand the need for regulation, I have no quibble with the 12ftlbs limit, but why a FAC required for a 12+ftibs air weapon, but I can buy a crossbow producing 60-85ftlbs with nowt other than waving a drivers licence ?
I have no desire to do so!, but it makes you wonder...

Re: AA s400 ftlbs/fps
Hi Mark, thanks for the info, i'd probably take the beast to a gunsmith and get them to look it over, not sure i'm brave enough to tweak it at home!, if the gs said that it was spot on at 10.8 and accurate with minimal fps variation, and as you said a tweak would only add 20 fps and maybe raise poi ...

Re: AA s400 ftlbs/fps
I plead ignorance and naivity! my previous s400 was unregulated, had a sweet spot and a gradual decline, my new to me s400 is regulated with previously noted ftlbs, is that a normal figure?, I don't want 11.9999 ft lbs with the inherent dangers, and if 10.8 is ok for a regged s400 i'm happy, I just ...

AA s400 ftlbs/fps
What ftlbs do people's s400s tend to produce?
I have a reulated s400, that with jsb diablos produces 10.7-8 ftlbs with minor variations in fps
Do you gain anything by having power upped to low 11s?
probably a daft question
