Re: TX200 Mk1 low power
I fitted Protek supplies part number M116, TX200 piston seal. I also sourced the spring, the bearing rings and a breach seal from them as well. They had the parts I needed and were reasonably priced. Cheers Wilfy

TX200 Mk1 low power
Hi, Could anyone suggest a way forward with my .22 TX200 Mk1. The problem is lack of power, specifically with Air arms diablo field 16 Grain pellets I can only get 9.57 Ft/lbs of muzzle energy. Things get better with lightweight RWS hobbys wadcutters at 11.9 Grain giving 11 Ft/lbs. H&N Field Tar...

Re: HELP Please TX200 Mk1 problem
Hi, Just an update to the update! I will not be getting a new TX200 Mark 1 spring because to the best of my knowledge you can't buy new Mark 1 springs. I have tried all of the usual suspects and what is available is one spring that covers both the Mark 1 and 2. I believe this is actually a Mark 2 sp...

Re: HELP Please TX200 Mk1 problem
Hi, Just an update that may be of interest. The rifle is now up and running, I carefully removed the burrs using Swiss files and small carborundum stones. I finished off with very fine grit emery paper to give as smooth a surface as possible. Also I dressed the rear end of the compression tube so th...

Re: HELP Please TX200 Mk1 problem
Sherlock1963 is absolutely spot on. His answer is an exact description of what has happened. I found a worn groove in the main tube with a raised burr at the end of it. I carefully as I could filed this down with a curved Swiss file and eventually the compression cylinder went paste this. However th...

HELP Please TX200 Mk1 problem
Hi, I have a problem with my TX200 Mk1. I am unable to get the rifle to cock because the compression cylinder will not travel back. It comes to a complete stop with about 3/8 of an inch still visible in the loading port. If I stand the rifle upright with the barrel uppermost the compression cylinder...

air arms Tx200MK3 loss of power
Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me some info and perhaps some reassurance about my TX200 MK3 .177 (full length barrel) I bought this brand new but I did not chrono it then. After a while I fitted a TBT drop in kit consisting of delrin spring guide and top hat plus delrin top hat washer and power w...
