Re: Interchangeable parts?

The S400 and 500 series, including the Ultimate Sporters and HFT500 share a lot of parts as mechanically they are all based on the S400. In general, stocks, cylinders, triggers, most firing valves, springs, seals and some barrels are interchangeable, as are quite a few other bits. I suggest you spea...

Re: Walnut TH stock

Have you considered the Customstocks CS700 or CS800? Both excellent stocks and about the same price new as you would probably have to pay for a second hand AA thumbhole walnut job.

Re: Regulator

Sorry, just realised it's an S200. The only reg I've any experience of for this gun is the HuMa external, and again, it worked and didn't need any holes.

Re: Regulator

There's loads of stuff about this on here already, if you use the search. For my money the Altaros, because you don't have to drill any holes in your gun and I know for certain that they work.

Re: Single shot

I think the shim is for earlier .177s. Didn't they share the same breech block as the .22, so the channel was deeper than ideal? That's true of my .177 S400 - the channel is clearly made for .22 and feeding the pellets can be a bit of a pain. I keep meaning to try to botch something up, but if Rowa...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

George There are all sorts of adjustments and minor tweaks that could have a comparatively small effect on your system, but your problem is much bigger than that - something is wrong! Without seeing the gun, my first guess would be a faulty seal or simply dirt in the regulator - both very common pro...

Re: S510 Ultimate Sporter XS Chronograph Chart

It will be very interesting to hear what AA say. I would not expect a bell-shaped curve unless the regulator was simply not working. In the real world, a regulated shot string is hardly ever flat, and MV shows a clear trend from full to empty, normally downwards. I don't know about the regulator AA ...
