Re: tx calibre swap/conversion.

It sounds abit more involving than I want to get , I don't want to end up with a pile of scratched metalwork and something that doesn't shoot straight, so i'll give it a miss.

Thanks for advice , much appreciated.

Re: tx calibre swap/conversion.

I'm also wanting to know if there's a load of Loctite holding the barrel to the shroud , or any other potential niggles? Not too concerned with internals , it's mostly wanting to know if barrel removal is as straight forward as it at first appears , I'm wondering what attaches the shroud to the barr...

tx calibre swap/conversion.

I'm wanting a underlever 22, my current mk3 hc tx is 177. So I'm wandering are barrels available and is it a feasible to just swap them over?

Re: TX200HC silencer

My 177 tx usually wears a hw silencer , it works well and is very effective at dampening down the higher frequencies. The noise from the action should me minimal if it's correctly set up.

Re: Springer scope. What you all using?

I seem to have developed an obsession with 4x32 scopoes,so dumped the mtc mamba and put on a very cheap but stella hawke 4x32 vantage, re pxed to 30 yards and I've no complaints. Very practical for modest ranges. There's no problems hitting spinners at 50 yards :) .

Re: s400 22 - does this sound about right?

Been doing that this afternoon,if I fill the rifle to 160bar , it gives 90 shots within 13fps then drops of rapidly as it approaches 100 bar.. So falcon accuracy are peaking at around 615fps, aa field around 570 ish. Should be ok.

Cheers mucker.

s400 22 - does this sound about right?

So a question about fill pressures - so from as far as I can tell the most consistent shots come between 160-170 bar to about 100 bar, this equates to around 90 shots with 13.4grn pellets and over 100 with 15.9-does that sound about right?

Re: What 22 pellets do you use

In s400 using falcon accuracy 13.43 and aa field 15.9. Both very reliable and precise poi.

Also recently discovered hw95 loves cheapo hobbies, acurate 25-30 yrds max and nice firing cycle.

Lgu ,superdomes, acurate and nice firing cycle.

Re: Finally decided on a drop in kit

I agree that there's not really enough room for a piston liner, more than likely you'll find with what ever you use it'll cause spring bind,or may not even cock. Can recommend tb guides, though to do it properly you'd be best measuring your spring and letting him have the exact diameter size to ensur...
