Not really

It's just when I look at second hand pics of the gun, they all look solid paint jobs around the pellet loading area (the flat bit not the hollowed out bit)

I presume they are made of steel

Not sure if I like the looks of that, just had a quick look at one of mine, and there are no scuff marks and that's at least 6 years old, and got a 14 year old one out and nothing on that either, is that a .22 Rog .177 Unless it's going to rust at some time, does not really bother me I suppose if I...

Scuffing

I wondered if the scuffing I get when loading pellets into my AA S400F is normal

I roll the pellets in, and over the past couple of weeks (since I bought it new) there are lots of scuff marks appearing

Do I have to put up with it or can the black coating be renewed or cleaned somehow
