Re: S410 FAC down to 18ft lbs

I have never taken it apart so when it has finished this charge up I will strip it down. I don't think it will have anti tamper bolts, from reading posts on AAOC I believe cleaning and polishing the hammer rail is a must. On another level the 18 ft/lb setting is a good compromise for a Classic givi...

Re: amnesty

They don't need to have an amnesty for people to hand their air rifles in. Article 17 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, which UK Governments are obliged by Law to adhere to, makes it clear that "Everyone has the right to own, use, dispose of and bequeath his or her lawfully acquired poss...

A simple Rifle Scope to Camera Adapter

Here's a video that I made of a new camera to scope attachment with parts found in my attic today. Hope you find it useful.

Re: PCP : 300Bar cylinder refills

A dive shop would be happy to fill your air tank. They don't care if you dive or shoot, it's all business to them. You will probably find that shooters fill as often, or more often than divers.

Not advisable in my book

It always worried me too about air in the cylinder, but check out the official Air Arms advice at this link.

Re: s510 xtra fac accuracy issues

Maybe, just maybe I have it sorted http://i65.tinypic.com/m832p0.jpg I'm surprised the jsb 15.9 gr didn't shoot better and 5 of the bisley mags went in one hole followed by 5 flyers but the 18gr diabolo's did well 13mm 6 shot group at 43yards in breezy conditions, so maybe now it's down to pellet c...

Fitting an Altaros Regulator to an S400/S410/S510

If anyone is thinking of installing a regulator to their S400/S410/S510 Series rifle, without drilling holes in their air tube, Altaros have a good installation video, which looks very straight forward. Once installed you would probably have to fine tune it, either by altering the pressure on the re...

Re: s510 xtra fac accuracy issues

At least it looks like you've found the problem. I hope that you can sort it out OK. You should probably try it with the shroud off to see if it is still not grouping right. Second hand rifles are probably best to have a barrel clean to start off with, then to shoot some rounds down the barrel to le...

Re: New Addition!!

You have a great rifle, now its finished. I got to hold one at one of last years shooting fairs near Burton on Trent. I think it was at the Solware shooting stand. It fit like a glove, which is always a good think when you want to make the perfect shot. I almost purchased it, but my wife would have ...

Re: Lane Regulator.

I had similar problems after fitting my Altaros regulator until I had tweaked the hammer spring screw and venture screw. You are lucky if it runs perfect first time if all you do is fit the regulator and expect it to perform the way you want, and I expect every rifle is different depending on how go...
