First Focal Plane Scope Owners

Anyone with an FFP scope with a minimum paralex of 50 yards answer me this one question please; On a lower or lowest magnification, can you see a small target clearly at a closer range than 50 yards? If so how close? (Yes that's 2 questions) Thank you.

Yes they are primarily used on rifles..and yes I know what a rifle fires thanks, but they can and are used on air rifles too, if you check out 'Teds Holdover' shooting starlings. Thanks, I've already had a chat with a guy from riflecraft, and it was him that suggested I could open the front lens to alter the paralex. I don't want any other scope as Vortex do these unique Christmas tree type reticle (EBR 2C MRAD) that can't be found anywhere in the world at that price range.

Can anyone tell me if you can reparalex a scope in order to shorten the minimum paralex distance? I have my eye on the Vortex viper pst 6-24x50 ffp and like most scopes of these types have a minimum paralex of 50 yards and as an airgun shooter I like to target / vermin shoot from 15 yards.
