Seems like the barrel must've taken a nudge, the scope needed moved the opposite of the amount of wind age I'd applied first time round . I just love the accuracy of the gun and scope combo, in today's gales, I had a 10p grouping of 10 shots at 25 yards.

was only able to release one of the Allen nuts, someone had already butchered the other one! Anyway I'll have a go see if it made any difference. I'd already rezeroed, so when I get a few shots tomorrow, it'll tell me if the barrel was off or not

Received scope today, in really good condition, well pleased! The mounts that came with it are too low, do I need medium or high mounts, to clear the s510 magazine. Also the elevation turret doesn't pull out with as positive a click as the wind age, does that mean it's just a bit more worn than the ...

I'm thinking of putting the above on my FAC S510, I have a variable zoom scope but leave it always on 10 mag anyway. I like the idea of the sidewheel, ballistic turrets etc plus the mill dot reticle. What are your opinions on the scope and fixed mag?

Have just established the date of manufacture as April 2004! RFD said wistfully, the wee guns only a couple of years old! That plus an out of date bottle should give me a fair bit of bargaining power, i would think. Im thinking £500 is about the right price?
