Re: New s410f low on power? 10.5ftlbs

It's on my list of things to do, drill a hole in it as per TenmetrePeter's Youtube video and tap a torx bit into it for ease of turning.

Re: New s410f low on power? 10.5ftlbs

A couple of months ago there was a jig for sale on e-bay purporting to be as used by AA to drill out the power adjuster cover screw. It was a semicircular collar with a hole that lined up with the cover plug.
It went for £40 ! I've tried to put up a picture of it without success.

Re: Lother walther vs fx barrels

There are varying opinions as to the effectiveness of the smooth twist barrels. I have read that they are more suited to
FAC levels of power, however lother walther are used by several makers and stood the test of time.

Re: New s410f low on power? 10.5ftlbs

That's good news, when my S410 went back to AA under warrenty it took about 3 weeks to come back.

Be interesting to know what power it comes back at.

Re: New s410f low on power? 10.5ftlbs

That's normal these days straight out of the factory, my S510 runs at about 10.3, and that's ok as it is only for garden use. Dont be tempted to up the power yourself as you will void the 3 yr warranty. The difference between 10.3 and 11.1 ftlbs is only 20 ft/sec using AA /jsb 16 grain. not enough t...

Re: New style indexing post

I'm waiting for the old ones to be reduced in price, there must be lots of old stock kicking about. Some time ago I put up a post about not being able to just buy the leaf spring 'cos I'm a cheap skate!

Re: S410 gauge housing removal

Unless there is a leak from the exhaust valve it is unlikely to be the cause of loss of power. I'm sure you are aware as a member of this Forum the stock answer to loss of power is to clean the the striker rod and hammer, this was the case with my S410 which had become very stiff to cock and much re...

Re: Indexing Post

If someone was just making the pawl {leaf spring ) old or new style available, there's money to be made. I definately won't be paying for that upgrade when it is just the pawl to change

Indexing Post

Following on from the magazine loading topic I see that there is a modification to the indexing post. I have not seen this available from the usual sources i.e. Ebay, Chambers or John Kibbs and our own AAOC. i have not had one fail but I can see there is the potential for the little lever spring to ...

Re: Air Arms Magazine Pellet Loading problem.

Likewise I have never had this problem. I find that AA Field 5.52 often need a tap to ensure they drop through the cover plate and seat into the drum. I have noticed that Crossman Premiers are a loser fit and possibly could fall back. I recall one of the Daystate models had a problem where pellets w...
