Re: Pellets
Yes he writes in the comments that they are not allowed to own air guns in China. Again makes you appreciate how well off we are in the UK.

Re: Pellets
You've got to admire his ingenuity, he probably made the moulds himself aswell! Makes me appreciate how lucky we are to be able to just go and buy some.

Re: S410 manometer
I had a gauge stuck on 150 from new. Mine goes straight into the cylinder end, not a dogleg, and if yours moved again on twiddling it is probably not the same problem. I remember you had that from new! and had to buy a thin walled spanner to fit it. The o ring I used was the one for the purpose in ...

S410 manometer
Some weeks ago the dog leg on the gauge developed a leak at the base so bought a seal kit and renewed the dog leg one. On filling the gun the gauge very slowly and eventually settled on 190 ish where it stayed after a several shots ( the gun is a classic FAC and gives about 30 shots from 190 down to...

Re: Decoying magpies
Excellent! very satisfying, that's a lot less nest robbers. You can't beat shot birds set up as decoys.

Re: doghouse blind
That looks really handy and you've got the knack of collapsing it which is an art in itself. I recently bought the popup hide based on a collapsable camping chair from the Bay and have used it to good effect shooting woodies just throw a camo net over it and you're away.

Re: Decoying magpies
I have found that owl decoys only work in the nesting season when magpies have eggs or young as they are very terratorial. If they believe the owl is a threat to their young they will squawk at it from the safety of a nearby tree. At other times attract their attention with food like a a dead rabbit...

Re: S400 MPR cylinder gauge
Another gauge problem! Mine is stuck on 190 but it is 10 yrs old so I suppose it is to be expected and at least it doesn't leak anymore. The gauge on the s400 series is removed with a 22mm socket as shown on the Air Arms youtube video. That doesn't help you I know but perhaps an old fashioned box sp...
